Awards programs are deceptively complex: entries, categories, judges, scoring rounds, conflicts, results. Awardee needed all of it to run cleanly, at scale, for multiple programs.

Off-the-shelf tools each covered a slice. Stitching them together meant spreadsheets in the gaps — exactly where mistakes are most expensive, because judging integrity is the product.
